This project will be funded by a 1,400,000 NCDOT Aviation grant and 155,556 in Passenger Facility Charges (PFC's). The North Carolina Board of Transportation has awarded Onslow County the first part of the grant in the amount of 89,989 for the design. This grant will be increased to the full 1,400,000 after construction bids are received. Bids for this project are due in late February.
