1. A resolution authorizing and directing the proper city officials to consent to a settlement agreement between the Erie School District and DuPry

Erie of the assessment appeal on property located at 725 Chestnut Street. The agreement between the School District and DuPry Erie establishes an assessed value for the property of 375,000.00 from 452,675.00, a reduction of 77,675.00.

2. A resolution authorizing and directing the proper city officials to enter into a settlement agreement with UPMC Hamot ( UPMC ) of its assessment

appeal which affects the tax years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The agreement establishes an assessed value for all UPMC real estate for the above years totaling 51,600.00.

These funds have been made available through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Enterprise Zone Program and the Erie Enterprise Zone Revolving Loan

Fund and loan repayments. The loan will be charged against account number 310-0000-0000-1007. The interest rate is fixed at 3.5 per annum. A one-time loan processing fee based on of 1.0 of the amount financed will be assessed to the client. The City Solicitor s Office will assist with the preparation of the loan documents for this transaction. City Council further directs that the proper City Officials are authorized to sign the necessary documents and agreements effectuating same.
