The land referred to herein below is situated in the County of Robeson, Township of Lumberton, State of North Carolina and is described as follows:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Lumberton Township, Robeson County, North Carolina, about 3 miles Northwest from the City of Lumberton, on the East side of and adjacent to the Old Lumberton-Carthage Public Road, bounded on the North by the lands now or formerly owned by Emery Prevatt, on the East by the lands of A. Gradford Prevatt; on the South by the lands now or formerly owned by Purney Prevatt and on the Meat by the Old Lumberton-Carthage Public Road, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a stake in the center at the Old Lumberton-Carthage Public Road, the Northwest corner of Lot No. 1 in the Division of the lands of A. Judson Prevatte as will appear by reference to a Map of the same prepared by P. A. Roberts, Civil Engineer, under date of November 30th, 1937, and duly recorded in Book of Official Maps No. 4, at page 56, Robeson County Registry, and runs thence with the North line of said Tract No. 1 above referred to, South 83 degrees 45 minutes East 15.87 chains to a stake in said line; thence to, with and beyond a ditch South 5 degrees 10 minutes West 12.12 chains to a stake in the center of the Old Mill Race, thence, as the Old Will Race North 78 degrees 45 minutes Nest 11.81 chains to a stake in the center of the Old Lumberton-Carthage Public Road; thence as the center of said road North 9 degrees 05 minutes East 3.74 chains to a stake; thence with the center of said road North 7 degrees 20 minutes West 1.00 chains to a stake; thence as the center of Said road North 21 degrees 25 minutes 1.00 chains to a stake; thence as the center of said road North 24 degrees 45 minutes West 7.00 chains to the Beginning.
